Greatest vs. Zyn: how much stronger is Greatest, and does it feel the same?

Zyn is the pouch most Americans start with. Greatest is the Finnish brand a lot of them move to when they want more nicotine without giving up the dry, low-drip feel they are used to. So Greatest is not "a strong brand" in the way Pablo Exclusive or Iceberg 50 are — its two lowest strengths overlap exactly with Zyn's whole range. This is where Greatest is unusual among European brands. Killa, Pablo and Iceberg are moist pouches: instant release, heavy drip in the first minutes, faster fade. Zyn users who try them often find the first five minutes overwhelming even at moderate strength — not because of the nicotine, but because of how fast a wet pouch delivers it.

Greatest's Cold Dry pouch works the way Zyn does. The surface is dry on contact, there is very little initial drip, and nicotine and flavor come through gradually as the pouch absorbs moisture. You want the strongest option: Greatest Cold Dry 30mg, about 21 mg per pouch. Only if you already have an established tolerance at the 16 mg/g level.

Zyn wins if you want mild, warm flavors: Wintergreen, Cinnamon and Coffee have no Greatest equivalent, and Greatest's mint is too cold for some people.
